Balloton Table Lamp

The Balloton range is imagined by Matteo Zorzenoni for MM Lampadari. It is inspired by one of the oldest Venetian glass-blowing techniques and reinterprets it in this evocative collection of metal lamps. Shaped in the form of a stylised capsule, made of two encased elements, the top element is in iron with a polished copper finish while the bottom element is in hand-blown glass. The light pierces through the veins of the glass section that decorates the bottom of the shade.

The "balloton" name depicts the typical pattern in the art of blown glass, made of multitude of diamonds, each reflecting the light in a different direction, creating a light mosaic. It is a beautiful lighting translation of the technique of blown glass. 

The Balloton Table Lamp makes a great lighting option for those looking for modern style lighting to beautify their table tops. Suitable to be placed next to your bedside or on a side table in the living room, the Balloton is also available as a pendant lamp in both the "Pill" and "Disk" designs.
